This position will lead a Transportation Security Administration (TSA) Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) program. This role shall be responsible for providing overall program management and will lead a small team. The PM will be a key contributor and leader to the contracted team for planning, budgeting, and other general management issues as directed.

Work Location: 1 day per week required on-site in Annapolis Junction, MD, based upon the direction, and needs of the customer.

Salary: $125,000 – $135,000

4 Month Contract

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Lead, manage, and provide overall task order leadership and oversight for a complex IV&V program.

· Develop and execute strategy to ensure compliance with statement of work, IMC quality expectations, and overall program success.

· Provide strategic planning and service management support to the team and advise customers.

· Provide leadership, management of, and support for teams engaged in program and project management, change management, requirements management, schedule management, risk management, process improvement, training, and requirements gathering.

· Develop and provide detailed program status reports as required.

· Set and track project milestones; manage and account for unforeseen delays, then realign schedules and expectations as needed.

· Establish and implement project communication plans, providing status updates to affected staff and stakeholders.

· Develop, maintain, and grow customer relationships.

· Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.

· Interact with vendors, other agencies, and other client staff on behalf of the client.

· Perform other duties as assigned.

Desired Qualifications and Skills:

· Highly desired current Project Management Institute Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

· Previous TSA experience.

· Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline.

· Minimum of 7 years’ experience as PM with extensive experience managing complex and multi-faceted projects.

· Minimum of 3 years’ experience leading/managing government IV&V work.

· Work independently with little to no oversight.

· Ability to communicate at all levels, verbally and written, and conduct meetings and presentations.

· Interpersonal skills for dealing with internal and external customers as well as a diverse staff group.

· Requires current TSA and/or DHS favorable security adjudication fitness; commonly referred to as Entry on Duty (EOD) determination.
