Junior Trainer/Facilitator
Location: Fort Knox, KY
Salary: $50,000
The Junior Trainer/Facilitator develops, coordinates, and facilitates training utilizing government provided curricula and PMO developed training in support of the Army Transition Assistance Program (TAP). Designs, develops and maintains training and/or training materials for TAP functions, tools, services, core TAP courses, and additive tracks based on client tier assignment. Helps design, develop, and instruct training for field staff and uses the train the trainer method enabling synchronized operations worldwide.
Duties include:
- Assist Senior Trainer in development of training materials and course curricula for TAP functions, tools, services, core TAP courses and additive tracks based on client tier assignment.
- Reviews TAP policy and guidance and identifies training needs to improve TAP courses and services in the field.
- Assists the Senior Trainer in conducting training needs assessments with TAP Regional Managers.
- Assists the Senior Trainer in developing TAP training guides and job aides.
- Instructs virtual, in person, and self-paced, and multimodal training sessions to disseminate Government-accepted changes, updates, regulations, policies, guidance, and implementation instructions for transition services to all contractor support personnel.
- Conducts training needs assessments for TAP personnel for program delivery and data systems proficiency.
- Assists the Senior Trainer in the review of all government, regulatory, and compliance documents for TAP and incorporation of these documents into PMO and field TAP personnel training materials.
- Responsible for maintaining the training records for all contract staff and assisting in the proactive tracking of required training.
- Plans and executes training program goals and applies critical thinking to resolve issues and achieve goals.
- Completes all mandatory government training and sustainment training events as offered.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Training and Development, Instructional System Design, Information Architecture, or related field.
- Applicants must successfully undergo a background investigation (National Agency Check).
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Experience with Microsoft Suite power platform applications.
- Education and/or experience in instructional system design concepts, education and learning theories, training needs assessments approaches, and virtual training methodologies.
